Co-founder and president of eco-union, Jeremie is the director of eco-union and coordinator of the green and blue economy areas. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from INSA Lyon (France) and an MBA from Esade.
Jérémie is a senior consultant and expert in green and blue economy, eco-innovation, sustainable tourism, corporate responsibility and sustainability policies at national, European and Mediterranean level. He has collaborated with leading research centres and universities, intergovernmental agencies and local, regional and national governments as well as companies and NGOs.

Alejandro González Domingo

Alejandro started working at eco-union in 2012 after finishing his studies at the University of Barcelona. He holds a degree in tourism and two Masters in Tourism Planning and Territorial Planning.
Since 2017 he is responsible of tourism, mobility and cities. He represents eco-union in local networks such as the Barcelona Sustainability Council, and international networks such as Transport & Environment and EEB.

Professional Profile
Kristian Petrick (Industrial Engineer, Technical University Berlin) is a senior consultant with professional experience of over 20 years, thereof more than ten years in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainability, providing policy and strategic advice to public and private clients.
Kristian has supervised and elaborated policy and innovation related studies regarding all aspects of RE, among others on energy prosumers, PV, offshore energy, electric vehicles, P2G, and industrial policies. He has drafted and advises on RE support schemes in various countries, among others Bahrain, Oman, Dubai and Uzbekistan.
He has worked as RE consultant for Ecofys Spain and earlier in his career as supply chain manager for Siemens in Germany and Canada.

Francesc Cots Serra

Francesc Cots is a lawyer in the United States and Spain and holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Technologies from the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technologies (ICTA) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
He works in eco-union since 2022 as a Senior Researcher & Project Manager in charge of the EU Horizon 2020 research project Tipping+ and doing consultancy work.
Francesc has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of sustainability, climate change and energy transition in academia, public administration and consultancy. He has also worked as a lawyer and university lecturer and has publications in prestigious publishers and journals.

Helena Fortea holds a degree in Translation and Interpretation from Pompeu Fabra University and a master’s degree in International Relations, Security and Development from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
She works in eco-union since 2022 as a communications, outreach and project officer. She coordinates projects related to low-carbon mobility and sustainable tourism at local, national and Euro-Mediterranean level.
Helena has worked in the Ministry for Foreign Action of the Government of Catalonia on development cooperation issues and has experience as a project manager in a translation agency, and other experiences abroad.

Gerard Codina holds a degree in Political Science and Administration from Pompeu Fabra University and a master’s degree in Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, specializing in Industrial Ecology.
He works in eco-union since 2022 as a research and project assistant. He mainly performs research, report writing and consultancy tasks in national and European projects on sustainable mobility, energy and environmental policies.
Gerard has worked on market research initiatives at Clau Consultors and Psyma Ibérica and as a researcher at the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technologies of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Giulia Balestracci holds a degree in Tourism and two master degrees; one in Sustainable Tourism Management of Resources and Destinations and Regional Tourism Planning and a second one in Tourism Management and Territorial Planning.
She works in eco-union since 2022 as a tourism policy and project officer. She coordinates projects related to sustainable tourism, and the blue and green economy at national and Euro-Mediterranean levels.
Giulia has been working in the (responsible) tourism sector since 2015, in international environments, with different experiences of working and traveling abroad.
