Within the framework of the PROGRESS project, the French engineering cooperative Orchis Ingénierie organizes the first professional training on Urban Landscape in Montpellier from 27 to 31 March 2017.

Course Description:

This training is a great opportunity to learn about experiences and practices on green infrastructure design based on natural solutions for the management of green spaces and water. The content is addressing specific aspects such as alternative landscaping and functionalities such as green and blue belts, green roofs, local water management and plant engineering.

Available places: 9 places

Mixed methodology: five days of conferences, workshops and technical visits, with experts from universities and technical offices from Montpellier and other French cities.

Place: Pôle Réalis, 710 rue Favre de Saint-Castor, 34080, Montpellier (France).

When: March 27-31, 2017

Entrepreneurs of green spaces, managers, water and plant engineers, educators, trainers, professionals educators, sociologists, architects, urban planners, environmental associations, academics, experts in urban ecology

Individual Mobility grants:

The applicants will have the opportunity to enjoy a scholarship covering 100% of the training costs (travel, accommodation and training).

Grant requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • Full attendance commitment (5 days)
  • Professional orientation to the management of urban green spaces.
